Donna Wehe is the new Hub Manager for 11 counties in South-Central Colorado.

Starting in October, Connect for Health Colorado (C4HC) will offer individuals and small employers an online means to compare and purchase affordable health insurance.

Assistance Site Locations

Starting now, Donna Wehe is preparing to manage one of five C4HC Regional Assistance Hubs. These Hubs were selected statewide, one being based at SLV Health Regional Medical Center. Her territory covers the counties of: Alamosa, Conejos, Costilla, Mineral, Rio Grande, Saguache, Huerfano, Fremont, Custer, Pueblo, and Las Animas.

Assistance sites are set up in each county where individuals can get help choosing and signing up for a healthcare plan in the network that works best for them. At SLVHRMC, Patient Financial Service Manager Cayetana Quintana will fill that role.  SLV Health Conejos County Hospital, Rio Grande Hospital, and Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. are also assistance sites.

Outreach to the Uninsured

Part of Donna’s job will be to ensure a coordinated system of referral exists at all assistance sites in the 11 county region and help support customers with specific needs. She will also coordinate outreach and enrollment events to help all uninsured residents in these counties get coverage.

“I believe that every individual deserves access to affordable healthcare,” she said. “I’m excited to work for Colorado’s Exchange, Connect for Health Colorado, because I think it is leading the country in what the Exchange can do to assist people who are shopping for affordable options.”
