Providers Receive Top Scores in Patient Satisfaction Survey

On March 9 ^th, 2017 five SLV Health providers were celebrated for receiving top scores from patient survey data collected from 2015 to 2016: Dr. Carmelo Hernandez (OBGYN), Dr. Nuwan Pilapitiya (Family Practice), Brian Jackson-PA-C (Family Practice), Dr. Thom Miller (Pediatrics), and Dr. Aaron Polzin (Chiropractics). These five providers have over 40 Years of combined service to Valley patients!

The data is collected from an independent survey company, HealthStream. The survey is designed to encompass the entire patient experience. Data and overall scores are compared nationally to other hospitals and published to Medicare. Medicare posts hospital ratings on its Hospital Compare website.

Dr. Miller, Dr. Hernandez and Dr. Pilapitiya had the highest Provider score percentage increase from 2015 to 2016. Dr. Polzin and Brian Jackson have consistently maintained the highest overall Provider score by remaining in the 90 percentile.
