Amy Norris Joins SLV Health CCH as Director of Nursing

San Luis Valley Health welcomes Amy Norris as the Conejos County Hospital Nursing Director.  Amy grew up as a “small-town girl” on a family owned farm raising potatoes, grain, and alfalfa in the San Luis Valley. She loves the small town culture and living in such an amazing community. Amy graduated with her associate’s degree in nursing from Trinidad State Junior College in 2008. Then she worked for both Rio Grande Hospital and San Luis Valley Health. She earned her emergency nurse certification in 2016 and her bachelor’s degree in 2018. Her ultimate goal in this new role is to assist her team by promoting better health and wellness for our community, all while providing comprehensive and compassionate care.
