San Luis Valley Health Years of Service Award Ceremony 2024

The SLV Health annual Years of Service banquet took place at Adams State University. Employees marking 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years were invited to dinner with their guest. Senior team members, board members, directors, and supervisors were also present to honor the dedication and loyalty of these employees. Those celebrating their five year anniversary were celebrated at staff meetings.
CEO Konnie Martin greeted the attendees with heartfelt thanks for their loyalty and dedication to SLV Health and their exceptional care for the patients in the community. Karla Hardesty, SLVH Board Chair, shared a blessing and a greeting "I am honored to celebrate every single one of you who have stayed loyal to make SLV Health all that it is.”
Keynote speaker, Dr. Carla Christ shared her story of when she started her career at SLV Health mentioning how welcoming the people were, but also how special they still are.
“These years of experience are evident in the way you go above and beyond to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Your compassion and tireless effort do not go unnoticed, and I want you to know how profoundly grateful we are for your hard work.”
Master of CeremonyTom Masterson announced each person who was recognized. CEO Konnie Martin and Board Chair Karla Hardesty presented everyone with their awards. Another milestone was acknowledging Clista Brown (Ortho), Geraldine Trujillo (Patient Accounting), Loretta DeHerrera (Pharmacy), and Melanie Archuleta (CCH Acute) with 25 years of service. The highlights for the night were celebrating Jeanette Martinez (Administration) with 30 years and Brenda Marchildon, RN (Emergency) with 35 years of service!
