SLV Health Welcomes New Provider Jackie Bennett, FNP-C

Jackie Bennett, Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined San Luis Valley Health to deliver personal and compassionate primary care in the Monte Vista Community Clinic. She offers evidence-based high-quality care and has a passion for working with a diverse population of all age groups. She embraces the challenge of managing patients with complex comorbidities.

Jackie earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. In 2012, she graduated from Adams State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and prior to that, she received her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Mount Hood Community College in 1995. She has a great deal of experience, including primary care, hospital rotations, supervising, and teaching. During her free time, Jackie and her husband enjoy the outdoors and can be frequently found mountain biking or riding a tandem. She is also an avid knitter and reader.
