SLVH Adopts Local Families from Adelante and Kids' Place

Employees from San Luis Valley Health got into the holiday spirit by giving gifts to local families in their annual “Adopt a Family” event. Over 30 departments were busy shopping, donating and planning. The volunteer ambassadors and SLVH Foundation staff wrapped and wrapped in order to make the holidays bright! Ressa Gonzales and the clinic staff volunteered many hours to organize the drive that resulted in 14 Adelante families, 9 Kids’ Place families and 8 internal SLVH families having a brighter Christmas knowing the giving spirit is alive and well within our community. The local non-profit leaders thanked SLV Health and said, “You have made our families in need very happy. We are so thankful for these generous gifts.”
