ASU and TSJC Nursing Programs to receive the 2018 Outstanding Community Partner Award
SLVH Foundation
At this year’s Stephanie L. Miner 5K walk and run, San Luis Valley Health’s Awards and Recognition Team will honor both, Adams State University and Trinidad State Junior College’s Nursing Programs with the 2018 Outstanding Community Partner Award.
SLV Health and the Awards and Recognition committee will recognize both nursing programs, as they have been extremely valuable community partners, to our organization, and to the community as a whole. The Nursing Programs in the San Luis Valley help ensure that we have competent, homegrown staff to take care of our community. Both institutions give many of our staff members the opportunity to teach and foster growth at the collegiate level.
The Community Partner Award is typically awarded to an individual or organization, which helps to improve physical, mental, spiritual, or emotional health in the community, working in sincerity with and augmenting the mission, vision, and values of San Luis Valley Health. The award was previously awarded to Dr. Marco Celada in 2016 and to the Volunteer Ambassador Program at San Luis Valley Health in 2017.
SLV Health invites the public to attend the awarding of the leaders of the Nursing Program and join us, as they receive this award on September 22, 2018 at Cole Park in Alamosa at 9:30 a.m.
