The Volunteer Ambassadors of San Luis Valley Health recently helped with the San Luis Valley Health Torch Run, an event designed to raise money for the Special Olympics of Colorado.
The event was put on by the law enforcement agencies of Alamosa, including the Police Department, Sherriff’s Office, and Adams State University Campus Police.
Volunteers of San Luis Valley Health sold t-shirts to help raise funds for the effort. Approximately $1,500 was raised to benefit the Special Olympics and over 100 people participated.
