That Coffee Guy Closes after Seven Years

Just over seven years ago, Adam Daniels opened That Coffee Guy in the Regional Medical Center of the San Luis Valley Health campus.  This Friday will mark the final day That Coffee Guy is in business.

“It has been a great experience working at San Luis Valley Health,” stated Daniels.  “I am going to miss the people here and want to thank them for the memories.”

Daniels has recently finished the required training to gain employment as an Emergency Medical Technician and has been working in the Center and San Luis areas of the valley.  He plans on continuing this career, as well as furthering his education.

Daniels opened a coffee cart at San Luis Valley Health in 2006 as a satellite location for Milagros.  After one year, Milagros made the decision not to continue the business operations at San Luis Valley Health, but Daniels saw an opportunity.

“I approached the administration and asked if they would be interested in having me continue,” explained Daniels.  “They were open to the idea, and That Coffee Guy opened in July of 2007.”

“We would like to thank Adam for the service that he has provided so many people over the past seven years,” said Kathy Rogers, Director of Patient Relations.  “We will miss Adam, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
