Ed Kulp Named Valley's "Top Male Healthcare Provider" for Second Year in a Row

For the second year in a row, San Luis Valley Health’s Ed Kulp, PA-C, has been named “Top Male Healthcare Provider” in the Valley Courier’s annual “Best of Alamosa County” competition.

The competition is put on by the Valley Courier and the Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce.  Readers of the local newspaper have the opportunity to vote for their favorites in a number of categories.

“I am honored to be recognized by the patients that I serve,” said Kulp, who has worked in healthcare since 1986 and has spent 16 of those years as a Physician’s Assistant.  “The trust that a patient puts in our team is something that we will never take for granted.”

Kulp, who works in Family Medicine alongside Dr. Sarah McAlpine, is excited that the department will be expanding to serve even more patients throughout Alamosa and the San Luis Valley.  Two new physicians are expected to start out of the Family Medicine clinic after the first of the New Year.
