Sidney Gordon, PA-C

Sidney Gordon, PA-C, Joins SLV Health in the La Jara Clinic.

Sidney Gordon, PA-C, grew up in Pueblo, received her education and training in Minnesota, and along the way, completed a rotation with Ed Kulp, PA-C, at SLVH’s Primary Care Stuart Ave Clinic in Alamosa.

“Originally, since I went to Fort Lewis College in Durango, I thought I would end up back there. But after my rotation, I really felt like the San Luis Valley was a better fit. I am so excited to be working and living here!” stated Gordon.

Sidney received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fort Lewis College and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Her wide variety of work experience and rotations exposed her to subjects such as long-term care, surgery, optometry, and emergency medicine.

Her approach to care is based on patient education. In her patient interactions, she likes to create a foundation where the patient can share openly about their health.

When she’s not busy working, she spends time weightlifting, drawing, doing nature restoration art, and volunteering. She is excited to live and work in a rural environment and looks forward to developing meaningful relationships.
