About Kevin
Kevin J. Caballero, MD has joined the SLV Health team at the Monte Vista Community Clinic. His medical degree is from the Instituto Technologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (INTEC), and his residency in family medicine was completed at the Mayaguez Medical Center in Puerto Rico. He is bilingual and excited to explore Colorado as he sees patients in the Monte Vista Clinic.
His approach to care is to be part of the team, with the patient actively participating. He likes to listen and gather information and input from the patient. “I prefer that my patient and I decide on any treatment or medicine together in a team approach.”
He has had a good first impression of Monte Vista, the San Luis Valley, and Colorado. “It feels like a good fit for me here,” he commented. He is looking forward to exploring all that the area has to offer. In his free time, he enjoys trap shooting and other outdoor activities.
