Jason Defee, MD

Jason Defee, MD, joined the SLV Health Orthopedic Team!  Dr. Defee is a Board Certified Orthopaedic surgeon who has been in practice 13 years in San Angelo, Texas.  After first attending Galveston College, he later received his Business Admin/Management degree from Baylor University as a 3-sport athlete and then completed his Residency and received his Doctorate of Medicine from UT Health Science Center in Houston.

Dr. Defee has served on many advisory boards and committees and also been an adjunct professor at Angelo State University.

Specialty & Interests:  Joint replacement including shoulders, hips, knees; sports injuries, including ligament injuries; work injuries, including hand injuries; experience as a team physician for college and high school teams; consultant for Stelkast, Inc.  

Dr. Defee loves to snowboard and his wife is into mountain biking while caring for the two children, ages 8 and 11.  Jason and Nichole look forward to getting involved in the local community.
